Orvis M Kemp Endowment
This endowment provides scholarship(s) to a 4th year, 5th year, or graduate accounting student attending a partnering college or university.
In May 2008, William Kemp, with the help of members of the FICPA Florida Keys Chapter, established an endowment fund in the name of his father, Orvis M. Kemp. Orvis Kemp was one of the first practicing CPAs in Key West and Monroe County, and was very supportive of the FICPA Florida Keys Chapter. For many years, he opened his home for Saturday night dinners as part of the Florida Keys Chapter
Weekends. He joined the FICPA in 1950 and remained a member until his death in 2007.
