Azalea Grace Endowment
This endowment provides a ($1,000) scholarship to a 4th year, 5th year, or graduate accounting student, attending a partnering college or university, who is a single caregiver of a child, parent or family member.
Established November 2020, Dr. Valrie Chambers and James Barret established the Azalea Grace Endowed Scholarship. The scholarship gives preference to a student whom is a single person family caregiver, because they realized how difficult it is to be the sole caretaker of children or other family members.
Azalea Grace never had the opportunity to become the amazing woman that they knew she would become. Their family will forever hold her memory and so with this scholarship they will provide a legacy for her that will last over time.
