Since 1989, the FICPA Scholarship Foundation has hosted a 5K race in South Florida. This year, we will celebrate the 34th annual race in April with an exciting run in Sunrise, FL at Markham Park.

 

The FICPA Scholarship Foundation is excited to host the 2023 event.

The annual event has tremendous local support and has become a great experience for families and co-workers to get together for fun and exercise while contributing to a very worthwhile scholarship fund. It is important to continue this great support and we hope you join us again!

Proceeds from the event are awarded to deserving accounting students including 3 scholarships in memory of Lewis Davis, Miami-Dade County’s first African-American CPA, community leader, and co-founder of the Greater Miami-South Florida Chapter - National Association of Black Accountants, Inc.

Since its inception, the 1040K race committee has raised more than $250,000 in scholarship funds.
